About Foundation

Welcome!

Fundacja Vivaswan is the independent, private, non-government organization dedicated to research of Indian sciences (shastras) and support of Indian culture. We:

- carry out research and publication work in the field of Sanskrit literature and arts, 
- teach and promote Indian languages (Sanskrit, Hindi);
- organize educational and cultural programs and tours to India.
- help in understanding Yoga, Ayurveda and Indian philosophy.

The Foundation supports outstanding achievements of Indian science and arts which are the important part of human cultural heritage. It is founded and supported by Rucinski's family. 

Founders and Foundation board :
Filip Ruciński
 (PhD) - president of the Foundation
Studied at śāstrī degree level at Sampuranand Sanskrit University, Varanasi (India), postgraduate (PhD) at Dept. of Oriental Studies, University of Warsaw, Poland.     

Skarbimir Ruciński (PhD) - vice-president of the Foundation

A postgraduate of Sampuranand Sanskrit University, Varanasi (PhD written in Sanskrit). He lives in Ahmedabad, India, where he is developing a company: https://www.atreyo.in.  

Other members:
Anna Rucińska (PhD) - adviser of the Foundation
Sanskrit scholar and eminent translator of Sanskrit Literature into Polish. She is a graduate (MA) from the Institute of Oriental Studies, University of Warsaw and a postgraduate from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University (PhD written in Sanskrit).  

The headquarters of the Foundation is Warsaw.

Legal status
The Foundation operates under Polish law pertaining to public charitable activities and volunteering act (Dz.U. z 2010 r., Nr 234, poz.1536 with further amendments), act about foundations from 6 April 1984 (Dz. U. z 1991 r., nr 46, poz. 203 z późn. zm.) and its own Statutes.



Foundation is the private organization and it does not have the status of a public charity organization (OPP). 

It gets fundings from: 
- donations
- paid statutory services (presently selling its own research publications and organizing educational courses / tours).
