STUDIES of YOGA of the Himalayan Masters
We are pleased to invite you to the study course in Yoga of the Himalayan Masters, inspired by the teachings of Swami Veda Bharati (Dr. Usharbudha Arya). It is designated for those who aspire to be grounded in yoga and would like to develop deeper insights into yoga philosophy. The study consists of six weekend retreats between January and June 2022 with practices and study of Patanjali's Yogasutras.
The course will end with a certificate.

(V) May 13-15: Mastery over thoughts, speech, and emotions.

- The higher members of Patanjali's yoga: dhāraṇā, dhyāna, and samādhi (YSū III.1-8)
- The nature of the flow of time and its transcending (YSū III.6-16)
- The power of voices and their effect on consciousness according to the teachings of Abhinavagupta (YSū III.17, Parātrīśiā-vivaraṇa)
(VI) June 24-26: Silence: transcending thoughts, integration with self and others, natural state, yogic sleep (yoga-nidrā).
